128 Hours.
The WETLAND SCIENCE concentration in the Department of Natural Resource Ecology & Management is designed for students who wish to specialize in wetlands, valued as wildlife and fish habitats, for maintaining water quality, and for other economic benefits. Graduates can anticipate working for private or government agencies that manage, restore and/or regulate wetlands or for businesses that delineate wetlands, plan and manage mitigation banks, or plan and construct restoration projects.
BASIC SCHOLASTIC EXPECTATIONS.
*Complete English 1001 and one general education analytical reasoning course within the first 30 hours of study.
* Maintain an LSU and overall GPA of 2.0.
* Maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA in the major field.
* Students must earn a grade of "C" or better in all required RNR courses.
* Students entering the program with 30 or more semester hours will take one additional hours of approved electives in place of AGRI 1001.

Sem 3: CHEM 1212; MATH 1022/1431/1441; RNR 2039.
Sem 4: EXST 2201.
