128 Hours.
Students preparing to enter the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine are invited to enroll in the "three-plus-one" program managed jointly by the School of Renewable Natural Resources and the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. In this program, students spend three years in the wildlife-veterinary medicine area of concentration study, after which they are eligible to apply for admission to the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine.

The required first-year veterinary medicine courses will be used to satisfy free and approved electives to fulfill the B.S. degree requirements.

BASIC SCHOLASTIC EXPECTATIONS.
*Complete English 1001 and one general education analytical reasoning course within the first 30 hours of study.
*Maintain an LSU and overall GPA of 2.0.
*Maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA in the major field.

RECOMMENDED PATH & CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS.
The RECOMMENDED PATH shows how one may complete the curriculum in 4 years.
CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS must be met by the indicated semester to be considered making minimal progress in the degree.

*Students must earn a grade of "C" or better in all required RNR courses.*
